Jello Marshmallow Pinwheels

Sometimes these are known as “monster tongues”  but we call them Jell-O pinwheels. A favorite with the kids and adults.

I like to make fun snacks for the kids to enjoy when they are home during the summer. My boys love all things silly. If you give a slight spin on a traditional dessert, these boys go crazy. Last week, the hubby and I made these fun Jell-O snacks for them to enjoy after a day of swimming. I will be honest, the hubby and I decided to enjoy a few before they got their hands on them, ha ha. They were totally tasty and so addicting. The marshmallow layer really makes for a great combo with the Jell-O.

With just two ingredients, these little pinwheels are super inexpensive and pretty darn easy to whip up. We made quite a few different colors because I couldn’t decide on just one, lol.

Use dental floss or twine to cut into slices by sliding under roll, wrapping over top and pulling ends.

We had quite a few of these monster tongues to go around but they vanished quite quickly. The kiddos just couldn’t get enough and neither could mom and dad. They make for a great treat. We plan to make them in red and blue colors for our upcoming July 4th bbq. I know they will be a favorite of all the kids and even the adults.
